Report a correction
Found a number that does not match your agency’s notice or your benefit letter? Tell us. This form is the only way to reach the editorial team, and it is read.
What makes a report easy to check
- The page and the figure. For example “New Jersey, 2027 maximum” or “Oregon, minimum weekly benefit”.
- What you believe is right, and where it is published. A link to the statute, rate notice or agency page lets us verify in minutes. A benefit letter is useful too — describe it, but never send claim numbers or identity details.
- For a calculator bug: the inputs you used (the “Share this estimate” link carries them after the # sign), what you saw, and the browser or phone you used.
What to expect
Figure and rule reports are checked against the primary source before anything changes. A report that affects estimates people are making now — a new maximum, a changed waiting period — is handled first; anything else is folded into the next scheduled verification of that program. If you leave a reply address we write back once we have an answer, including when we conclude the page was already right and why.
Before you write: is it really a difference?
A difference between our estimate and your official benefit is not always an error. The agency may be using a different base period than the one you assumed, wages from an employer you forgot, an alternate base period, a partial first week, or an employer plan instead of the state plan. Each state page explains which wages its program counts. If you have checked those and the gap remains, we want to hear about it.
Who decides your actual benefit
We cannot see or change a claim. Questions about eligibility, payment dates or an appeal go to the body that runs your program:
